Once our sea moss is harvested, it is rinsed & sun-dried for 2-7 days (dependent upon sun exposure & temperature). During the sun drying process, the sea moss lightens in color and reduces in size. Sea moss is naturally resilient, so its nutrients are maintained during this process & preserved for rehydration. Our sea moss is harvested from the Caribbean Sea off of the Jamaican coast. This West Indian island boasts a tropical climate all year round enabling sea moss to grow in optimal water temperatures (maximizing the nutritional value).
